WHY CHOOSE US?
There are a number of options in assisted living in Las Cruces and the surrounding communities. In making this important decision for yourself or a loved one, there are many factors to consider.
However, if you desire:
• Local ownership with decades of experience
• An unmatched location with the largest resident rooms in the area
• The highest-quality care delivered with the latest technology
You should consider the Aristocrat and the Adobe.
LOCAL OWNERSHIP & DECADES OF EXPERIENCE
The Aristocrat and Adobe are part of a locally owned company that has been in the senior-housing business in southern New Mexico since 1980. Many of the other assisted living options in the area are large facilities, owned by out-of-state investors and managed by out-of-state executives. With the Aristocrat and the Adobe, you have the advantages of local ownership by a family with deep roots in the community. The owners are on the premises and always available to you. And, with our resources and experience, you’ll receive the best and most advanced care in a home-like setting.
UNMATCHED LOCATIONS
At our assisted living communities, you are part of a neighborhood but close to the commercial and medical services you need. The Aristocrat Las Cruces is located on Claude Dove Drive, in a quiet residential area just off Telshor Boulevard. This location has all of the advantages of Las Cruces’s east side—less than a mile from both Memorial Medical Center and Mountain View Regional Medical Center, and even closer to major shopping areas. The Adobe is located on Mountain Avenue, again in a quiet residential area but just blocks from commercial services and easy access to medical facilities. And the Aristocrat of Alamogordo is located in a quiet neighborhood, but close to White Sands Boulevard for easy access to all services. Many other assisted living facilities in the area are located on noisy, busy thoroughfares in commercial districts, and are large, multi-story complexes. In contrast, our buildings combine their quiet but convenient locations with single-story design insuring easy access for all residents, with the peace and quiet of resident rooms in individual hallways.
NEWLY RENOVATED BUILDINGS
All of our assisted living buildings have been completed renovated over the past two years. Resident rooms were completely redone, with new carpet, paint, cabinets, lighting, and window blinds, as well as refurbished bathrooms. And the common and dining areas were renovated as well. The Aristocrat rooms include private bathrooms and kitchenettes, and at 500 square feet are among the largest rooms available at any facility in the area. Even larger rooms for couples are available as well. Click here to view our facilities.
HIGHEST-QUALITY CARE
What sets our communities apart is the people and the high-quality care they provide. Many of the caregivers have worked at these facilities for years, and all are devoted to their work. We have continuous in-service training for our staff, including direct instruction and practice, as well as the latest online training technology. All of our communities have fulltime, licensed nurses on staff Monday through Friday, with on-call nursing available night and weekends. In Alamogordo, we have nurses on staff 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. The care staff at our communities gets to know the residents and their families, and understands each resident’s individual needs. As a result, even for residents with more serious medical conditions, our facilities are a home-like option where other facilities may not be.
LATEST TECHNOLOGY
We have invested in the latest technology in order to deliver the best care possible. For example, our communities all have a sophisticated electronic medication management system. This system enables caregivers to dispense medications accurately to residents, including confirmation of the resident’s identity by photograph on a laptop computer or iPad, and maintains an electronic record of all medications. We also have personalized resident assistance systems—all residents have the option to wear a pendant necklace that allows them to summon immediate help anywhere in the facility, or even outside on the grounds.
